"This hotel exceeds the standard of 2-star hotel. We stayed in triple room. The space in the room was comfortable with sufficient storage space. The room had toileteries and hair-dryer which is above the expectation for 2 star hotel. Breakfast was served at table with a variety of food. Staff happily served second helping if required. The staff were very kind and helpful. The hotel had sufficient parking space. We always found a parking spot."

"The hotel is a short walk from city center, uphill on return. The glass door of our balcony was directly facing the road so we had to keep curtain closed for privacy."

"Lovely traditional chalet style hotel, 5 mins walk from the centre of the town and ski lifts. Nice room with a view of the mountains & balcony and comfy bed. The breakfast was superb, fresh orange juice, scrambled egg/bacon/beans/cheese/fruit salad/yogurt etc, you can have whatever you like, nice sunny eating area. We didn’t eat in the evening as the restaurant is now closed but there’s loads of nice restaurants in the town. The staff are very friendly and communication was excellent, especially Estelle who deserves an award for the most helpful person on the planet. Skiing was great, we loved Les Gets, nice long blue runs. We booked transfers with ‘Alpine Fleet’ who were very efficient and reasonably priced."

"Nothing really. A kettle/tea/coffee etc in the room would be a welcome bonus but they will give you one and cups & saucers if you ask."

"The owners and staff are friendly and very helpful in arranging any specific requirements that you may need. Breakfast is varied and adequate to sustain a good morning’s skiing. The scrambled egg is very tasty."

"Lovely old style small family run hotel on outskirts of morzine but a short enjoyable stroll to the plenty lift and centre. Maybe 5-10 mins depending on speed or if in boots with skis. We left our skis boots at the shop so an easier walk. With good snow you could actually ski back to the hotel off the green run home. This is a quirky old style hotel with wood everywhere and cow bells in the breakfast room. The breakfast room is large and sunny. Breakfast is fairly basic and served per table but absolutely fine and very nice. There is a small indoor swimming pool and pool table and bar. Evening meals can be arranged with hotel. It was very warm and cosy. The bedrooms were very nice with very comfortable beds and a large shared balcony with a lovely view. Staff were very pleasant and helpful."

"The bathrooms are a bit dated but perfectly functional. We had a bath with a hand shower head attached to the side by the bath. So not a proper shower, you had to stand and hose yourself down for a shower. If this was just attached to the wall above the bath instead it would be fine as a shower in the bath. Don’t understand why it’s on the bath side. This is probably my only negative."

"The team are friendly and welcoming. The location is ideal with only a short walk to the Pleney Gondola and the centre of Morzine as well as access to the river for dog walks. Room 3 was warm and comfortable with cozy bedding and access to large communal balcony. However, the food on the half board basis was an exceptional standard. Dinner was beautifully presented, flavoursome and nutritious."
