"For a single traveler like me, it may not be your first choice pricewise because there are only 4 or 5 person rooms available. I slept in the room with 5 beds, which was fine for me, but maybe too small for a group of 5."

"Very quirky and special place, decoration fun, all done with attention to detail. The room is super spacious, the shower large, soap and shampoo provided. Host is very kind, he lives in the house, the living room is his private, where breakfast ist also served. Checkin is easy, because he is on site. Breakfast was very abundant and made with love. Room very private, because it is on the top floor. Short walk to restaurants. Remarkable stay"

"Beautifully executed design. Small but perfect. Beds very comfortable. Showers excellent. Very well equipped kitchen. Hosts very helpful. Swimming pool looked lovely and well maintained but the weather meant we didn’t use it. Fantastic view. Delicious walnuts from the walnut tree."

"My friend and I have had the most brilliant stay at The Ancienne Poste ! The whole flat was perfectly clean, comfortable, with lovely decor touches and thoughtful kitchen "gifts" :) Jackina, the owner, has been extremely helpful, approachable and friendly! The flat is perfectly located near the town centre, with plenty of restaurants & cafes around the area and is about 10min walk to/from the train station. Top of tops marks to Jackina and her team, for the warm hospitality and help. I had a brilliant and relaxing time. Can't rate this property high enough, really! Many many thanks , Jackina! "A great little place in the heart of the town. 100m from the Camino passport office and perfect for your starting place for the Camino. It's so close to all the shops too. Directly across is a little store that will vaccum seal sandwiches that you can take the next day on your adventure and they'll be fresh. The room was big enough and the bathroom and shower were great. The bed was comfortable too."

"The room was very quiet and contained all the facilities that you need. Breakfast was adequate with most of the food made by the host. However, it was not the "traditional" fest that we expected. The host was very pleasant and spoke exceptionally good English even though she had never been to the UK. Very small, pretty old town but with few eating places for an evening meal. We walked around the whole of the own in the evening and spoke with some locals who had moved there from the UK."
