Le Bourg

"What a venue, so traditional and adorable, we had the best couple of days here, close to Omaha beach and the American cemetery and only a quick 6 mins drive to three restaurants. Hosts were amazing and very attentive leaving out nightcaps and chocolates every night The breakfasts supplied were outstanding, delicious fruits, pastries, yogurt, juices a selection of teas, coffees, breads, meat platters and of course cheese."

"Perfectly located in the D-day area, all major sights are within an hour drive. Large, spacious and well decorated rooms/building and an extensive breakfast. The village is very quiet with no other disturbance than the church's bell (which isnt even that loud)."

"The matresses were pretty firm, for us it was fine but for many people this might be too firm. Bathrooms that were equipped with a bath lacked a showercurtain, for esthaetics this is understandable but it might be convienient to not spash the whole bathroom with water."

"We had the nicest experience staying at Le Bourg at Elaine and Darren’s place. They are the kindest hosts, very lovely people who welcomed us at the B&B like family. The location is convenient for exploring the Normandie area and WWII spots. And our room was super charming – with somewhat of a boutique hotel vibe. There is a garden with tables outside, and the vibe is just absolutely perfect. Thank you for having us!"

"The breakfast was amazing everything we wanted even went to the trouble of getting personal choice coffee. The grounds are lovely and beautiful presented. A lovely place to stay very relaxing.The hosts were very welcoming ,friendly very knowledgeable of the area. beautiful house and lovely village, couldnt ask for more."

"The friendly hosts made my stay feel like a home away from home. For a solo traveler, that’s the highest praise I can give. They’re always happy for a chat and even accommodated my very early rise on Dday! The room was beyond my expectations, with a ballroom sized bathroom, comfortable chairs and a cozy bed. The location near Omaha beach, in a hilly area with lots of lovely little villages is perfect, especially for people who want to explore the history of the area. I’ll definitely be back!"

"The owners were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, knowledgeable about the area and altogether such lovely people. The place itself is stunning, clean and comfortable and the breakfasts absolutely perfect; I could not have asked for more. As a location, it cannot be beat - quiet but close enough to all the things we were wanting to do. Overall, a joyous experience."
