Le Clos Hortense

"Such a unique and exceptional stay. The owners are so lovely, willing to share about all that they know. The beds were so comfortable. The room was clean, full of character yet had the most modern facilities. I spent many moments staring out of the window at the peaceful fields. We were treated to breakfast with homemade orange cake and rhubarb jam from their garden, as well as wonderful chats with the owners. After breakfast, we had our own privacy to come and go as we wished. We felt so taken care of and highly recommend this stay. Merci beaucoup!"

"Quiet location. Satnav took us to a different bnb but a call to the hosts and this was quickly sorted. A beautifully fresh and clean room and helpful tips about where to eat and what to see."

"We couldn’t find fault with the chambres d’hotes. The hosts were so welcoming and the room was thoughtfully decorated, immaculately clean and located in a lovely historic building close to Bayeux."

"What a wonderful place, the whole place was delightful including the rooms, showers and breakfast room. The hosts were amazing and could not do enough, providing great advice on where to go, what times to avoid the crowds and most importantly the best places to eat particularly in Bayeux. The breakfast was great, all bread and pastries were baked freshly every day and included home made orange cake, marmalade and rhubarb jam which we were able to take some home..."

"Wat een leuke plek! Heel gezellige kamer, zeer vriendelijke gastheer en gastvrouw die ook een klik hebben met kinderen, goed ontbijt, mooi uitzicht, heerlijk rustig in de nacht. Als we weer eens in de buurt zijn, komen we hier graag terug."

"Logement au top. Hotes au top. Jacques et Nathalie sont charmants et sympathiques. Ils ont à coeur que vous vous sentiez bien (merci encore pour les géniales mini madeleines maison du dimanche matin) et sont des mines d'informations. On était vraiment bien et on reviendra avec grand plaisir."

"RAS. Pour trouver qqchose : légère inquiétude pour garer ma grande voiture dans la cour en veillant à laisser assez de place pour le véhicule du 2eme logement ; et la sortie de la cour dans la rue se fait un peu à l'aveugle"
