"We had a wonderful stay at Lilac cottage. We loved the chic chateau style of the cottage. The views were amazing, we woke each morning to dears in the garden and a view of the countryside. Fabrice, the owner was lovely and was very informative on where to go and what see. Really good value for money. We had home made bread and jams for breakfast each morning. It’s a little far from attractions but there’s a train station a 10 minute drive away that makes it easy to venture further a field. Would definitely recommend renting a car to see nearby villages."

"If you're anything like me, doing a little solo road trip through the countryside to enjoy peaceful places this is definitely the place to come. The host is so welcoming and friendly, ready to help but also respectful of your privacy leaving you to enjoy your stay. Convenient parking, spacious room with garden views and super comfy bed and a lovely breakfast if you enjoy sampling homemade bread and homemade jams from the garden. Thank you"

"Idéalement situé entre Houdan, Anet et Dreux, l'endroit est très calme, en pleine campagne, mais à quelques minutes en voiture de restaurants. Le jardin avec le potager, la mare aux grenouilles, les champs alentour, la chambre (familiale) spacieuse, la bonne literie, les délicieuses confitures du jardin, le pain maison, et l'accueil maison... on a passé un très bon moment !"
