"The breakfast was plentiful and varied. Lovely fresh fruit; croissants; fresh bread; fresh eggs cooked to order; nice jam and plentiful juice and coffee... delightful room to eat in too! We took two rooms; both the rooms are as described - super comfortable and clean. The bathrooms were excellent and offered everything needed. The outside courtyard was delightful - too early in the year for the pool, but a great haven to sit and have a quiet cup of tea and enjoy the excellent freshly baked cake supplied! The huge lounge offered a glimpse into French regency splendour! Lovely place to sit and relax. We ate at Anecdote which was also truly memorable!"
