"There was much to like about our stay - the room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a good shower. The location - a short drive from the main Belle Mare beach and not too far from the main regional hub of Flacq (with its twice weekly market and also Super-U for those who prefer more modern facilities) - was good and the walk from the accommodation to the dining area through an abundance of local floral was a delight. But biggest praise must go to owners Roshan and Sang (and their son Kite) who were so warm and welcoming - they made each guest feel like a VIP, nothing was too much trouble for them and the food (breakfast and dinner) freshly prepared by Sang each day was varied but always delicious. We had a wonderful stay with no complaints whatsoever. Well, actually, just one - we never did get to see Roshan feeding the Dodo."

It would have been great to have had a fridge in the room

"Staff were very friendly and werw available for any kind of help. Cleanliness was also good enough including bathrooms. Price was very reasonable. And the location was also on very good spot, kind of centre location to visit the important places in beirut. The highlight were the staff and their behavior. It was a pleasant experience in that hotel."

Just little bit of issue in internet but we only spent night time at the hotel so was not that much of a problem.

It was quiet and peaceful, perfect for resting, yet the location was excellent and very convenient. The room layout was very practical and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to feel comfortable right away. The internet was extremely fast and reliable. The bathroom was a real highlight — a fantastic shower with both a rain shower and a movable shower head, and the water pressure was excellent. The host was friendly, attentive, and very responsive to any questions. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend this place."

"I booked for a Night, but i stayed for one week. I really liked it. The best accomodations in Gambia. Very good price! Comfortable, big bed! AC and Van and big TV with netflix... and hot water. A shared kitchen is also there. The village is very authentic and many cute kids around. A few shops and a restaurant about 10min walking. Lamin was always available, friendly and helpful. Very spontanously he took me to the airport, i had some problems and he helped me there with everything and he was waiting the whole time to see if i am fine. Very good man! It was a comfortable, nice, stressfree ending of my travel there. Thank you so so much :D"

We had a couple dead cockroaches in the place that wasn't our favorite. We also had a line of fire ants on the wall in the master bedroom. There were also a lot of cockroaches outside of the apartment and one ended up getting into our vehicle which the kids didn't like

"Everything was excellent! Perfect location, walking distance to the center. Incredible restaurant next door with very friendly prices and outstanding food. Jorge is the best host I have ever had. He is very friendly and very human person. We had our car broken and he had helped us to push the car to car service and let us to store our staff in his house off the charge. Rooms are very clean, good kitchen, incredible veranda with cool view and BBQ station, hot water, fast Wi-Fi. Totally recommend"

1 socket per room is very little. No heaters in the room so in the night (we were in August) is a little chill but blankets are warm

"Właściciele byli bardzo mili i pomocni. Córka właściciela mówi po angielsku. Przyjechaliśmy o 22:00, a zostaliśmy zameldowani dostaliśmy herbatę i porozmawialiśmy z właścicielami. W obiekcie wypożyczyliśmy namiot i maty, które były w bardzo dobrym stanie i zostały z wyprzedzeniem przygotowane na nasz przyjazd. Mieliśmy możliwość zostawienia części bagażu na czas kilkudniowego trekkingu w parku narodowym. Obiekt daje możliwość płatności w USD oraz przy pomocy karty debetowej, co jest dużym ułatwieniem. Smaczne śniadanie (bułki, toster, masło, wędlina, ser, dżem, herbata, kawa) zostało przygotowane bardzo wcześnie, żebyśmy zdążyli zjeść przed pierwszymi autobusem do parku narodowego."

Ściany są cienkie, więc warto mieć zatyczki do uszu.

"Nocleg w tym miejscu był jednym z najlepszych naszych doświadczeń w Indiach. Rodzina gospodarza ugościła nas jak we własnym domu. Wszyscy byli bardzo mili i pomocni, a my mogliśmy zobaczyć jak wygląda życie prawdziwej Indyjskiej rodziny na wsi. W dobrej cenie oferują również wycieczkę jeepem podczas której mieliśmy okazję zobaczyć i spróbować tradycyjnego garncarstwa, poznać kulturę Bishnoi oraz zobaczyć rzadką antylope Indyjską. Skorzystaliśmy również z lekcji gotowania prawdziwych indyjskich potraw, których uczyła nas cudowna żona gospodarza, było to świetne doświadczenie, bardzo polecamy :). Pokoje również są znakomite w tradycyjnych domkach. Bardzo czysto i wygodnie, bez żadnych zastrzeżeń, chyba najlepszy nocleg w indiach jaki mieliśmy. Jedzenie również było świetne. Woda filtrowana - nic nam po niej nie było :) Bardzo polecam zatrzymać się w tym miejscu i spędzić trochę czasu aby poznać indie od innej strony."

"Ten apartament to komfortowa baza wypadowa, aby odkrywać wyspę Mahe. Znajdziecie tu wszystko, czego potrzeba do swobodnego wypoczynku, w naszym przypadku były to: dwie sypialnie (z łóżkiem podwójnym i dwoma pojedynczymi), wpełni wyposażony aneks kuchenny oraz łazienkę. Klimatyzacja i przestronny taras z widokiem umiliły nam pobyt. Możecie to sprawdzić sami , pod tym linkiem: https://www.skylinewebcams.com/pl/webcam/seychelles/mahe/anse-etoile/quincy-village.html. Ceny są bardzo atrakcyjne, szczególnie biorąc pod uwagę oferowany standard. Właściciel jest zawsze pod ręką, gotowy do pomocy i w stałym kontakcie (Whatsapp). Choć dom jest położony na wzgórzu i warto mieć samochód, my nie czuliśmy się odizolowani - na przystanek autobusowy idzie się 5min."

Jedynym minusem był słaby zasięg Wi-Fi, co utrudniało korzystanie z internetu. Mimo to, bardzo polecamy to miejsce

"Debbie was very nice and the place was clean. We received a warm welcome."

I did not like that there were no mats on the bedroom floor or kitchen. No dish soap, no hands soap, no paper towel or even a kitchen towel. I been to one air BNB and two hotels and only blue star provided nothing for their guests. I was shocked but it is what it is. I learnt so I know now what to expect should I book it against. All in all it was a great stay and a beautiful place.

"We had the most amazing time at the Vera Sunset Homestay. Phonephet and his family are very friendly and the island is perfect for a few days off the beaten path. You can just relax in your hammock all day or explore the rural island and play football with the village kids. The food was very good and fresh. The standard of the bungalows is basic and in line with the price. Definitely one of our highlights in hole SOA and we can't wait to come again!"
