Prysznic pod chmurką, gotowanie na ognisku (nigdy nie przewidzisz kolejnego blackoutu 😁) i różne owady zakradające się do dormu. Ale- na to wszystko jesteście pewnie przygotowani. Ja byłam i wszystko było częścią świetnego doświadczenia! Kelly i jego rodzina traktują Cię jak swojego. Nie czujesz się turystą - czujesz się częścią większej społeczności. We wszystkim Ci pomogą- zaplanować pobyt i zobaczyć to co najbardziej Cię interesuje (mając na uwadze, że dysponujesz budżetem backpackerskim). Jeśli szukasz luksusów to nie miejsce dla Ciebie, ale jeśli interesuje cię autentyzm i życzliwość ludzi wkoło- jak najbardziej ☺️ Kelly to świetny facet z ogromną wiedzą i szerokimi horyzontami - gdyby każdy Papuas był jak Kelly, to świat byłby lepszym miejscem ☺️"

Przydałoby się wyłożyć trochę więcej kamieni albo parę płyt chodnikowych na długości od wejścia do zbiornika z rybami (na wysokości pralki). Przy mocnym deszczu robi się okropne błoto :)

"Sehr nette Besitzerin. Lage etwas versteckt im Kampung. Nah am Flughafen. An einem kleinen See mit Sitzgelegenheiten. Essensmöglichkeiten an der nahen Hauptstraße. Küche mit Kühlschrank und Waschmaschine. Super für Leute, die eine Übernachtung in Flughafennähe suchen."

"We stayed in the private apartment a few blocks from La Comarca Hostel. It has everything you need - comfy double bed, an en suite with large shower, and a well equipped little kitchen with a stove, toaster, kettle. The whole vibe was very stylish, modern and clean. All the staff were lovely!! I said it was my partners birthday before arrival and they had put up balloons and little treats for us! Although we didn’t stay in the main hostel, it had a warm vibe when we dropped by and we were allowed to leave our bikes down the side of the hostel for a few nights while hiking. Overall, highly recommend!"

"Przyjemne miejsce dla młodzieży i starszych😉 Dużo miejsca do relaksu, wszystkie podstawowe udogodnienia, kawa, herbata w cenie. Wspaniali ludzie tworzący klimat tego miejsca. Wspaniałe ciepłe kołdry, poduszki, pościel czyściutka i pachnąca!Balkony,światełka, kwiaty, dwie łazienki dzięki czemu nie było aż takich kolejek."

Zimna woda mimo słonecznej pogody. Brak ciepłej wody w kurkach. Ciepła woda w określonych godzinach. Woda ogrzewana solarami i dodatkowo zakręcana albo bardzo bardzo niskie ciśnienie. Bardzo stara kuchenka gazowa, mało bezpieczna bo kurki od gazu się źle przekręcają.

"MyFarm is not just a place to sleep. It is a vibrant place full of life. You wake up from the sound of beautiful birds in the morning, you can join the MyFarm team for breakfast and talk about their daily life here. All the staff is super nice and accommodating. It's amazing to be inside such a wonderful place that gives out free education to the people who live around here. I ended up helping out in the different educational programs and I loved every moment of it. I thought I just went for a cheap place to stay that was also social, but I got so much more. I will definitely come back as a volunteer to the project."

If you want a beach holiday it's a little far but if you enjoy the cultural aspects it's a perfect spot. Just a little uphill.

"Great helpful staff, freshly cleaned room. I arrived earlier than planned and they quickly swept and mopped the room and made up my bed while I waited. Super central location. Showers were hot. Got given a roll of toilet paper on check in which seems like a great solution to previous negative reviews saying toilet paper ran out and wasn't topped up. Great value for money"

There was no common area to hang out in like a lounge or courtyard or kitchen, but even still I made new friends just in my dorm room, in the corridor and in the bathroom while brushing my teeth. Probably not ideal for light sleepers as there is a karaoke bar nearby but I really enjoyed being able to hear all the singing!

"A Pleasant Surprise at Palm Garden! We booked Palm Garden without checking any reviews—only afterward did we take a look and feel a bit unsure. My husband even told me not to say anything about the booking, just to see how it was when we got there. But to our surprise, from the moment we arrived, everything was wonderful. At the doorstep, we were greeted by Madu at reception, who welcomed us with the warmest smile—as if we had known her for years! 😊 Our room was spotlessly clean, very spacious, with a large comfortable bed and a lovely balcony overlooking a beautiful view. It was clear that the staff really care about maintaining a high standard."

"Bardzo fajne miejsce, pokój czysty i wygodny. Miła obsługa, a śniadanie przepyszne, świeże bułeczki, pyszne dodatki, a do tego dwa rodzaje pachnącego ciasta. Łóżka wygodne, w łazience ciepła woda, jedyny minusik to deszczownie, które średnio sprawdzają się gdy ktoś nie chce myć głowy ;)"

Lekko przeszkadza hałas przejeżdżających do późna w nocy aut. Choć hostel usytuowany jest wydawałoby się w spokojnej dzielnicy, to w sobotę auta co chwila jeżdżą do późnych godzin nocnych.
