"The food was delicious in both locations. Excellent service. The old part of the venue is very beautiful."

"The main pool area has no shade whatsoever. The only shaded area has a television on all the time. The music was too loud and not all all relaxing. Why not play Mexican music instead of generic pop! The new developments surrounding the property will change the whole feeling of the place. For that reason I am not sure I would return"

"Although the property is rated as 5 star, it has a feel of being 5 stars ranging from the attentive staff, beautiful shared areas with a pool and gym facilities and spa."

"I would like to have eaten at the restaurant to not go out but the menu didn’t look appealing. However I really enjoyed the breakfasts. Coffee throughout the property was appalling but I just went to the boutique coffee shop around the corner which was of the same standard as boutique coffee shops is London (Gamme and Estacion 72 with the latter doing breakfast too)."

"An absolutely fantastic stay! The room was beautiful, spacious and very comfortable. The staff were exceptional: welcoming, attentive and genuinely helpful throughout. They shared great recommendations not only for Mérida but also for Mexico City and helped organise a brilliant trip to Chichén Itzá and the cenotes. Also, they make some of the best margaritas :-)"
