"It was like staying at someone’s home. V good, helpful staff and bed was v comfortable. The food was surprisingly decent for such a small place. Picturesque location even though snow was sparse at the time"

Only gripe might be that the air was quite dry, making sleep quality not so good: might be because of it being a wooden bldg

Pokoje świetnie wyposażone i czyste. Cały hotel naprawdę robi wrażenie. Przemyślane i zadbane miejsce. Śniadania, jak i inne posiłki wyśmienite, duży wybór, ceny bardzo przystępne. "The people who run the Lodge are absolutely lovely. We had dinner and breakfast both of which were very well cooked and tasty."

I found the bed a little uncomfortable and i would prefer 2 pillows per person. The driveway is steep...a little intimidating for us Europeans! But we had a 4 wheel drive so we were fine.

Modi Lodge is quite hidden and set in a remote area. It offers a peaceful and secluded atmosphere, which can be great if you’re looking to unwind, but it also means that getting around is difficult without your own transportation. Public transport and taxis are limited in that part of Curaçao, so without a car you won’t be able to easily reach beaches, restaurants, shops, or other attractions on the island.

"It is a unique carribean cottage, which is a little gem. It is a five minute walk to a lovely beach. We cooked in as the kitchen had everything one required. We had our meal out on the verandah next to the kitchen and watched the sunset. Sabina is a wonderful hostess. When we arrived she tried to book as into a restaurant but it was full so she took us to the local supermarket to ensure we would have a good meal. Keith was also really helpful and a great guy. We wished we had booked it for longer."

Można by trochę urozmaicić śniadanie, gdyż cały czas był ten sam zestaw.

"Nice forest hut on the edge of a forest - 10 min to a beach by foot. You are really almost in the middle of nature here. The forest was full of blackberries when we were there. The kitchenette corner is smallish but sufficient to make a meal for a family of four."

It may be a bit challenging to find the right road leading to the house, but we managed. Go past the road leading to the two storey apartment houses, and turn to the left of the warehouse-like structure which is further on the road.

"Staff woke us up early for the turtle hatching release on the beach outside our bungalow - a magical experience. Food was good and staff were friendly. Amazing location on the beach (even though getting here takes a while) Rooms were decent although our ceiling fan was really weak so it got very hot at night. Would definitely stay here again"

"Wspaniale położenie , na plaży , spokój , cisza , mało ludzi , klimat kolonialny lekko vintage, daleki od turystycznej komercji. Plaża piękna , szeroka , praktycznie pusta , widać delfiny. Personel bardzo miły i pomocny . Idealne miejsce na odpoczynek ."

Trochę uciążliwe były komary wieczorem

"Ogromny teren, lokalizacje chatek pozwalają na zachowanie intymności. Bardzo schludne, pięknie urządzone, czyste. Na miejscu bar i możliwość zamówienia wyżywienia. Piękny taras z widokiem na Mont Agou i dżunglę. Spokój, dźwięki przyrody, można naprawdę odpocząć. Wifi dostępne przy recepcji. Bardzo pomocny i sympatyczny właściciel, podobnie jak reszta personelu. Na miejscu możesz poprosić o pomoc w organizacji wycieczki na najwyższy szczyt Togo i inne okoliczne atrakcje. Obiekt położony w pewnej odległości od miasteczka, sklepów i innej infrastruktury, jeśli nie chcesz korzystać z wyżywienia na miejscu- weź to pod uwagę :)"

"I had an excellent stay at Top Lodge, certainly, an improvement from my previous stays here. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, ensuring a warm welcome and attentive service throughout. The lodge itself was impeccably clean, and the pool area provided a perfect spot for relaxation. Additionally, the breakfast served at Top Lodge was simply delicious, and filling. Overall, I highly recommend Top Lodge for its friendly staff, cleanliness, delicious breakfast, reliable Wi-Fi, and inviting pool area."

"It was quirky and a lovely cosy space to base ourselves. Very close to the airport and next to the harbour in the town. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The loft bed was something different too and cosy and comfortable. The owner was great and friendly. We had absolutely no issues and hope to go again someday."

Our guide, Alfredo, was amazing, bi-lingual, sensitive to the local environment and even played the guitar over dinner and breakfast!"

Only downside really is the fact that there is only 1 included boat time to the lodge and back from Iquitos. We had to pay $180 extra for a personal boat because LatAm airlines brought our flight forward - not the lodge's fault, but something to look out for.

"Domek jest dosyć nowym budynkiem, więc wszystko w środku jest zadbane. Przestrzenność oraz wiele udogodnień tylko umila spędzony czas. Taras ma wysuwaną markizę, chociaż kasztan który rośnie z boku spełnia funkcję zacienienia i częścioweǰ ochrony przed deszczem. Kuchnia dobrze zaopatrzona, zmywarka, toster, kawiarka, przybory kuchenne, wszystko co jest potrzebne przy gotowaniu było dostępne. Moskitiery w oknach spełniają swoją funkcję. Klimatyzacja na dole i na górze. Plaża jest blisko 3 minuty spacerkiem. Przy większych falach dobrze słyszalne morze z domku. Plaża jest dosyć kamienista, a zejście do morza czesto żwirowe więc jeśli Ci to przeszkadza lepiej zabierz ze sobą specjalne buty do pływania. Podsumowując. Miejsce spokojne, ciche (chociaż to zależy od wczasowiczów) okolica pozwala na długie spacery czy to po plaży czy po lesie. Przyjemne tereny do jazdy na rowerze."
