"Domek jest dosyć nowym budynkiem, więc wszystko w środku jest zadbane. Przestrzenność oraz wiele udogodnień tylko umila spędzony czas. Taras ma wysuwaną markizę, chociaż kasztan który rośnie z boku spełnia funkcję zacienienia i częścioweǰ ochrony przed deszczem. Kuchnia dobrze zaopatrzona, zmywarka, toster, kawiarka, przybory kuchenne, wszystko co jest potrzebne przy gotowaniu było dostępne. Moskitiery w oknach spełniają swoją funkcję. Klimatyzacja na dole i na górze. Plaża jest blisko 3 minuty spacerkiem. Przy większych falach dobrze słyszalne morze z domku. Plaża jest dosyć kamienista, a zejście do morza czesto żwirowe więc jeśli Ci to przeszkadza lepiej zabierz ze sobą specjalne buty do pływania. Podsumowując. Miejsce spokojne, ciche (chociaż to zależy od wczasowiczów) okolica pozwala na długie spacery czy to po plaży czy po lesie. Przyjemne tereny do jazdy na rowerze."

"This property was tucked away in the rain forest. Alejandro was exceptional, his knowledge of nature and the beneficial properties of plants from his garden which he had specifically grown was like having a professor with us all the time. He and His wife Christiana also incorporated some of the fruit and vegetables into our stunning breakfasts which were freshly prepared each morning.. Alejandro was incredibly helpful booking restaurants. He always greeted us with a smile and was a perfect host. We felt perfectly relaxed by the end of the stay."

Would have liked more light, and water pressure but to be honest we didn’t mention it to him so he could fix it.

"This is a beautiful and well run place to stay. I was made welcome as soon as I arrived. Room was very nice and such good value for money. Peaceful place even with it being next to the lake where there was much singing and dancing and fireworks for the water festival (Bon Om Touk). Green and lush surroundings. I ordered my chicken fried rice when I arrived for 4 hours later. 4 hours later I was eating chicken fried rice."

Nothing to dislike

"Super lokalizacja, bardzo czysto, piękny widok z tarasu, duży apartament wyposażony we wszystko co potrzebne, bardzo dobry kontakt z bardzo miłą Właścicielką obiektu, wczesne zameldowanie o 11 to duży plus oraz możliwość zostawienia bagażu po wymeldowaniu a także przebrania się i skorzystania z prysznica przed transportem na lotnisko. Zapewniony transport na lotnisko w dobrej cenie. Blisko fajna plaża (Anse Louis) do snorkelingu i do pływania. Dobry stosunek jakości do ceny. Warto mieć wypożyczony samochód - przy domu jest bezpłatny, bezpieczny parking. Byliśmy tylko 1 noc korzystając z dojazdu taxi; możliwość zamówienia posiłków do apartamentu z dostawą jest dodatkowym atutem;"

Byliśmy za krótko

"Najfantastyczniejsza była lokalizacja. Widok jest nieziemski. Równie fantastyczna była gospodyni, bardzo pomocna, gdy wysiadł prąd przez burzę, zagotowała nam ciepłą wodę na palenisku."

Nie zostaliśmy fanami śniadania - warzyw, i lokalnego sera. Ale było to po prostu standardowe śniadanie serwowane we wszystkich hotelach i guest housach w górach, na tle tych innych wypadało Ok.

"Great location and the scenery was beautiful. Very nice and peaceful atmosphere. Located on hill tops and the views were amazing! Perfect if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature. Surrounded by trees and was entertained by monkeys swinging through the branches. The rooms were also very spacious and allowed a comfortable stay. The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient and meals were delivered to the room. Staff were very accommodating and overall had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay."

"Obiekt posiada tylko 3 domki więc można liczyć na spokój. Domki dobrze wyposażone. Łazienka bardzo wygodna i ładna. W pobliżu wiele restauracji. Basen również super. Klimatyzacja działa bardzo dobrze."

Problem z komunikacją po angielsku. Szczeliny przy drzwiach i wielu innych miejscach przez co mogą wchodzić robaki i owady. Troszkę ciemny pokój. Można otworzyć okna ale ma się przed sobą mur i jedynie wlatują komary. Okna nie mają szyb.

"Największą zaletą był niewątpliwie nasz kierowca-przewodnik - Ezekiel, wykazujący sie niewiarygodną zdolnością dostrzegania zwierząt na potężnych dystansach i znajacy chyba wszystkie ich kryjówki. Jeśli ktokolwiek wybiera się na safari do Masai Mara z pobytem w Mara Intrepids, gorąco polecam poproszenie właśnie o niego. Sam ośrodek bardzo przyjemny, namioty bardzo komfortowe i zadbane. Kuchnia bez szału, ale również bez większych uwag."

Oświetlenie ścieżek w nocy, całkowicie oślepiające idących.

"The surround was lovely and very peaceful. Myself and the entire family sleep comfortably during our stay there. I would recommend to any guest about this property. It was in a safe location as well."

"Nalazi se na savrsenom mestu sa jako lepom plazom. Bungalovi su skromni ali ok. Postoji opcija klime ali mora ranije da se najavi! Hrana je izvrsna, imaju jako zanimljive izlete po ok cenama. Odlazak na kornjace ne treba propustiti!!! Osoblje je sjajno."

Jeśli ktoś lubi spać długo to obok jest budowa i słychać prace budowlane. Nam to nie przeszkadzało

"The place and outlook are very nice on the vulcano, from room and from jacuzzi :) The secret hike trail is very nice and should not be missed (Mariposa trail?). Jacuzzi is also very nice extra."

Breakfast could be a little more. You can choose from a menu. It was good, but an additional side or some bread would be nice. The street to the hotel could better maintained.

Modi Lodge is quite hidden and set in a remote area. It offers a peaceful and secluded atmosphere, which can be great if you’re looking to unwind, but it also means that getting around is difficult without your own transportation. Public transport and taxis are limited in that part of Curaçao, so without a car you won’t be able to easily reach beaches, restaurants, shops, or other attractions on the island.

"Best location ever! So close to the ocean you can walk straight to it at 5 AM for a morning swim. Great swimming pool, and the Green Turtle restaurant was awesome."

The water flow in the shower was not good.

"Staff woke us up early for the turtle hatching release on the beach outside our bungalow - a magical experience. Food was good and staff were friendly. Amazing location on the beach (even though getting here takes a while) Rooms were decent although our ceiling fan was really weak so it got very hot at night. Would definitely stay here again"

"The accommodation is in a great location, just a few meters from the ocan and the centre - cafés, restaurants, and bars are all within walking distance. The place was clean, the room was spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent, and we also made use of the hotel’s pool, which was a nice bonus."

As for the negatives, the first thing that surprised us was the arrival - when we got there in later afternoon, the night guard simply waved his hand to indicate where our room was, without giving us any further information. Unfortunately, the staff in general were not very friendly or welcoming. I should also mention that payment was accepted only in cash, which was quite surprising since we had no issues paying by card anywhere else in El Salvador. Overall, I would probably come back again.
