"Super place for the price. I had my own room with air con and a toilet and shower. It’s 800m about to the bus station and walking distance to most restaurants and stores in Savusavu. Practically next door to the historic Planters Club. Ron the owner is really kind and at the beginning drove me around to show me what I could do in Savusavu. I had a wonderful stay"

Sometimes it can get a bit noisy if the early morning ferry leaves for Suva a couple of times a week. I stayed in the front facing g the ocean. Maybe it was quieter at the back? But really there were no complaints

"The position. I was very skeptical due to bad reviews on booking.com but I found a well maintained and peaceful place. I was staying in a superior room, so can’t comment on the standard ones."

Restaurant choice was very limited but food was good

"Everything. In summer, when the site is full of campers, the view from the cabin would be obscured by tents. But, end of September, when we visited, our view was green lawns sloping down to the river. Lovely."

Booking.com told us it was 7 miles from Vianden. It is not. 22-24 depending which route you choose. We had planned to go the 7 miles back to Vianden for dinner, but 22 winding miles? No.

"Świetna lokalizacja w sercu Zuberca, a zarazem cicho i spokojnie. Bardzo mili i uczynni gospodarze. Obiekt w bardzo dobrym stanie, czysty i zadbany. Idealny wypoczynek!"

"very good location uphill, very far from street noise. we enjoyed seaview and city lights at horizon, that fara we could see from the highest small house. we got some hammocks up there and were having fun next to the amazing nature whilst chilling on the balcony, thanks to guys who secured our stay"

"If you are looking for an exceptional place to stay on the Coromandel peninsula, this is it. The Lodge is quite large with everything you could need: kitchenette, couch and TV, comfy bed, large bathroom (tub + huge shower), terrace and the a spectacular view of Whitianga! As you would expect, it was very quiet, and the layout is such that, that you can enjoy total privacy. Carol and Warren were very welcoming and we had a nice chat every morning with Warren as he brought us a lovely breakfast. The road up the lodge is fairly steep but it wasn't an issue at all, so if you have a decent car I wouldn't worry about it. While in our particular case, we didn't have the best weather throughout the stay, we appreciated that the lodge is furnished so as to feel like home, which made for a cozy day in. I could tell that there was a lot of thought put into the furnishing and decorating of the lodge!"

"Przemiła obsługa. Lokalizacja w pięknym starym mieście. Kot z dzwoneczkiem przesympatyczny. Pyszne śniadanie zrobione [przez właścicielkę. Pokój w urokliwym miejscu. Widok na góry Trafiła nam się nawet wanna. Przepięknie, klimatycznie, można było poczuć ten klimat. Sama trasa przez góry do Miejsca niezwykła."

Praktycznie nikt nie mówi po angielsku (próbowała z nami porozumieć się jedna recepcjonistka). WiFi było dostępne tylko w niektórych segmentach. My zostaliśmy po przybyciu poinformowani że w naszym pokoju nie ma WiFi. Jest to utrudnienie ponieważ w lokalizacji hotelu nie ma zasięgu właściwie u żadnego lokalnego operatora. Nawet jak WiFi jest, to nie da się z niego sensownie korzystać (może poza porankami albo późno w nocy). Teoretycznie można płacić kartą ale jak chcieliśmy to zrobić to akurat terminal nie działał (może również problem z internetem?). Byliśmy zmuszeni zapłacić gotówką i w euro - niestety po niekorzystnym kursie wymiany. Dopiero po zwróceniu uwagi, że nie jest to nasza wina, został zastosowany korzystny przelicznik.

"Breakfast was fine - just remember to inform the owner the day before if you require breakfast. Ingrid, the co-owner, is a lovely woman and a fine, traditional cook. You will never leave the table hungry! Whilst she can offer beer at an extra cost, we tended to buy our own along with wine to drink at dinner. Again, you will need to inform Ingrid on the day if you require dinner later. There is no choice; me and my wife are both omnivores with no allergies or intollerances, and always liked what she prepared! Our lodge was spacious with a generous deck overlooking the beautiful gardens, and the sea in the background."

A small fridge in our lodge would have been a great bonus - however, we were free to use Ingrid's fridge. The shower was also a little on the dribbly side!

We enjoyed the full kitchen and were able to cook great meals and enjoyed eating outside on the large wrap around deck. You feel like you’re in a treehouse and very secluded. Yet you’re very close to the beach and town. We loved the big spacious bathroom and having hot water was a bonus! Jac-Luc was a great host and communicated well ensuring we were comfortable and had what we needed. We felt it was great value for money and would recommend and we’d stay again."

"The property was maintained well. Unfortunately, at times there were dog poop in the walk way. Thankfully that was later cleaned, but I hope the dogs can be poop in the bushes and not where the guest walks."

The female owner was not helpful when asked for a meal/something to eat outside of the lunch hour. Also, at times she was overheard having loud fusses that could have been done in private when the guests were not around.

"Super obiekt, bezpieczny, zamykany na noc. Dużo zieleni. Klimatyczny, dużo ciekawych rzeźb. Pokoje sporych rozmiarów z łazienkami. W pokoju nr 1 , który był do mojej dyspozycji była lodówka, czajnik do wody. Dwa łóżka, mogłyby spać 3 osoby. Można korzystać z kuchni. Jest też basen nieduży, ale spokojnie można w nim popływać, woda zimna. Dobre śniadanie płatne dodatkowo 5 USD."

Do śniadania przydałoby się coś zielonego lub czerwonego, kawałek sałaty , pomidora.

"Lovingly furnished, clean accommodation in a family atmosphere with hospitable landlords, good sanitary standards and air conditioning, cozy terrace, very good and plentiful breakfast with fruit and local side dishes, option for dinner with excellent Sri Lankan cuisine which we thoroughly enjoyed. "The place is so nice. Restaurant is great & so are the rooms. The food was so good & the chef came out to tell us about the dishes, lovely!"

Arrived at 11.30am to some "surprises" from the night before & no beer in the restaurant - someone had a great night! Good for them! Cleaning was dealt with quickly & beer was eventually delivered. A one-off, I'm sure..

"Polecam. Zdjęcia pokoju zgodne z rzeczywistością. Świetny kontakt z gospodarzami, bardzo pomocni ze wszystkim. Nasz domek był nowy, z cichą i wydajną klimatyzacją, szczelne okna, dodatkowo moskietiera nad łóżkami. Jedzenie też ok, ale śniadania są dość skromne. W Cat Tien polecam wszystkim wycieczkę i wsparcie sanktuarium niedźwiedzi słonecznych i księżycowych Free the Bears (trzeba wcześniej zarezerwować)"

"Najmocniejszą stroną tego miejsca jest z pewnością nieziemski widok na morze i Petrovac. Pokoje urządzone są schludnie, wyposażone w lodówkę i dużą szafę. Wygodne łóżko. Dobra komunikacja z właścicielem, który szybko odpowiada na wiadomości."

Super, gdyby w pokoju był jeszcze czajnik i kubki.

"Great for family, location was great all shopping center close by, supermarket and Mall. It felt like home l."

The wifi service wasn't not getting it in the apartment have to go out side.

"It is a unique carribean cottage, which is a little gem. It is a five minute walk to a lovely beach. We cooked in as the kitchen had everything one required. We had our meal out on the verandah next to the kitchen and watched the sunset. Sabina is a wonderful hostess. When we arrived she tried to book as into a restaurant but it was full so she took us to the local supermarket to ensure we would have a good meal. Keith was also really helpful and a great guy. We wished we had booked it for longer."

We liked it all.

"It was quirky and a lovely cosy space to base ourselves. Very close to the airport and next to the harbour in the town. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The loft bed was something different too and cosy and comfortable. The owner was great and friendly. We had absolutely no issues and hope to go again someday."

"Comfortable stay in a Vintage house, outback-Australia style. Has all things in the kitchen to use if self catering.Hot shower .Central, close to a lovely beach and restaurants. But 2 km from main supermarket. Recommended"

"The mountains scenery and the serenity of the place make Le massif de Laqlouq an ideal getaway. During our stay, we felt we are well taken care of; the staff was constantly checking upon us and assisting us with any request."

"El lugar en si es bastante placentero, sin ruido de carros, rodeado de árboles y la cabaña es una belleza, muy limpia, amplia, cómoda, con absolutamente lo necesario para pasar un fin de semana bastante relajado. La persona que nos estuvo monitoreando por teléfono, muy amable y atenta, muy servicial en todo momento. RECOMENDADISIMO"
