At night, for the first time in Gambia, I had to cover myself with a duvet. The owner and staff were extremely kind, accommodating, unobtrusive."

Breakfast was an unexpected highlight - especially the delicious homemade jams and coconut bread, plus the fruit from the garden. Don't miss sunset drinks and dinner at the Opoa Beach Hotel down the road - plus there's tasty pizza on offer next door too."

Nothing - it was all great. However, be prepared for a steep drive down to the property. We were glad we arrived in daylight. 🙂

The showerhead is located halfway through the shower cubicle which meant that a lot of water came inside the bathroom while taken a shower. The ventilator didn't operate in the bathroom which meant that a small window was left open in the bathroom for ventilation. The drawback was ingress of mosquitoes into the room/bathroom. The lighting in the room could be enhanced, often we felt that the room was too dark.

"Great and unusual stay! Because is non tourist season, most of places near were closed, but owner kindly suggested to us where we can enjoy food - place Ataman, with kind woman i house athmosfer. Super clean place, amazing view, birds, and parking - everything for the trip on wild nature. They also have very cute cat if you love animals 😊 Forest near, lake, we really enjoyed walking around."

"Największą zaletą był niewątpliwie nasz kierowca-przewodnik - Ezekiel, wykazujący sie niewiarygodną zdolnością dostrzegania zwierząt na potężnych dystansach i znajacy chyba wszystkie ich kryjówki. Jeśli ktokolwiek wybiera się na safari do Masai Mara z pobytem w Mara Intrepids, gorąco polecam poproszenie właśnie o niego. Sam ośrodek bardzo przyjemny, namioty bardzo komfortowe i zadbane. The property is strategically located for reaching both the stunning northern beaches and Arikok National Park. We appreciated the lush vegetation surrounding the lodges and the chirping birds that accompanied us during breakfast. Each lodge respects privacy and is equipped with all the amenities, making it a delightful stay."

Having to leave

"Wyjątkowe miejsce na wypoczynek. Domki ukryte w lesie tropikalnym. Cisza, spokój, niesamowite rośliny i zwierzęta. Wszędzie nieskazitelnie czysto. Personel chętnie spełnia wszystkie prośby."

Droga dojazdowa jest dość wymagająca.

"This accommodation is surrounded by beautiful scenery and cafes with beautiful scenery. It’s much recommended for tourist who is looking for quiet and peaceful stay. I am very particular with cleanliness so I didn’t feel that the bedding and pillows were very fresh. The place is actually not difficult to find but we tried taking a bus from Yeonsinnae Station and we took more than an hour to look for the bus stop with the bus that took us up to Eunpyeong area.

Dojazd w każdą część wyspy bezpośrednio lub z jedną przesiadką autobusem. Pani właścicielka bardzo miła, pozwoliła zostawić swój bagaż po wymeldowaniu."

Nie było informacji o dostaniu się do obiektu. Dopiero po skontaktowaniu się telefonicznie z właścicielką dostałam instrukcje jak mogę sama dostać się do pokoju, co oczywiście nie jest problemem, ale byłoby super, gdyby ta informacja była wcześniej.

Was a bit musty smelling, but after being opened up and aired out and a candle or two it was perfect.
