"To był mój drugi pobyt w tym obiekcie i nadal uważam, że to świetna opcja! Cena bardzo przystępna w porównaniu z innymi obiektami. Bardzo dobra lokalizacja! Dojazd w każdą część wyspy bezpośrednio lub z jedną przesiadką autobusem. Pani właścicielka bardzo miła, pozwoliła zostawić swój bagaż po wymeldowaniu."

Nie było informacji o dostaniu się do obiektu. Dopiero po skontaktowaniu się telefonicznie z właścicielką dostałam instrukcje jak mogę sama dostać się do pokoju, co oczywiście nie jest problemem, ale byłoby super, gdyby ta informacja była wcześniej.

"The room was very beautiful and comfortable. The food was excellent. The best we had in the Dominican Republic so far and the price is extremely reasonable. The staff was professional and friendly. I would definitely go back for the food and for the comfortable room."

We had to change room as we didn’t know from the description, that it was in a shared apartment. That information should be clear on booking.

"Piękne położenie nad rzeką, niedaleko dwóch wodospadów, na trasie pętli. Domek przestronny z dużą łazienką i tarasem. Personel bardzo pomocny, mówi po angielsku (moglismy zaparkować skuter pod samym domkiem, który potem zabezpieczyli dodatkową blokadą z alarmem). Cisza, spokój, bardzo rodzinnie. Polecamy z całego serca."

Podobało się wszystko, ale gdyby były hamaki na tarasie i lodówka w pokoju, to pewnie zostalibyśmy dłużej😜

"It was like staying at someone’s home. V good, helpful staff and bed was v comfortable. The food was surprisingly decent for such a small place. Picturesque location even though snow was sparse at the time"

Only gripe might be that the air was quite dry, making sleep quality not so good: might be because of it being a wooden bldg

"Wonderful friendly staff - Marie-Helene and the rest of the staff made us feel totally at home. Delicious freshly cooked food. Super calm and peaceful in beautiful surroundings - a tonic after Dakar and Saint Louis. Relatively accessible for Saloum Delta which we loved. Great air conditioning. Lovely swimming pool"

Water pressure was low at certain times - pipe being repaired, so perhaps temporary. You'll need a car to get around (we got a taxi for 10.000 - 15.000 CFA each way to Ndangane.)

"Fantastyczny obiekt. Pokoje bardzo skromne, było łóżko, jakaś szafka, mały stoliczek i klimatyzacja. Balkonik z pięknym widokiem. Cisza i spokój, z dala od zgiełku i tłoku w centrum. Basen rewelacja. Pyszna kolacja i śniadanie. Dojazd trochę wymagający, jest dość stromo. Zejście na plażę drużką po kamieniach, trochę można się pogubić. Bardzo nam się podobało."

W łazience nie działała spłuczka. Brakowało w pokoju kubków lub szklanek.

"Najmocniejszą stroną tego miejsca jest z pewnością nieziemski widok na morze i Petrovac. Pokoje urządzone są schludnie, wyposażone w lodówkę i dużą szafę. Wygodne łóżko. Dobra komunikacja z właścicielem, który szybko odpowiada na wiadomości."

Super, gdyby w pokoju był jeszcze czajnik i kubki.

Was a bit musty smelling, but after being opened up and aired out and a candle or two it was perfect.

"El lugar en si es bastante placentero, sin ruido de carros, rodeado de árboles y la cabaña es una belleza, muy limpia, amplia, cómoda, con absolutamente lo necesario para pasar un fin de semana bastante relajado. La persona que nos estuvo monitoreando por teléfono, muy amable y atenta, muy servicial en todo momento. RECOMENDADISIMO"

Cold water shower (was fine for body but just cold for washing hair!), the vents in wall allowed a lot of smoke in which made me quite coughy but wasn’t a big issue

"Super obiekt, bezpieczny, zamykany na noc. Dużo zieleni. Klimatyczny, dużo ciekawych rzeźb. Pokoje sporych rozmiarów z łazienkami. W pokoju nr 1 , który był do mojej dyspozycji była lodówka, czajnik do wody. Dwa łóżka, mogłyby spać 3 osoby. Można korzystać z kuchni. Jest też basen nieduży, ale spokojnie można w nim popływać, woda zimna. Dobre śniadanie płatne dodatkowo 5 USD."

Do śniadania przydałoby się coś zielonego lub czerwonego, kawałek sałaty , pomidora.

"Wszystko super, ale gdybym tylko miał inną opcję, tańsza, zatrzymałbym się gdzieś indziej. Zdecydowanie za drogo."

"Jeden z naszych lepszych noclegów podczas podróży po Ugandzie. Wnętrza urządzone ładnie i praktycznie. Położenie gwarantuje wspaniałe widoki z tarasu znajdującego się w części restauracyjnej. Bardzo dobre jedzenie i obfite śniadania. Personel miły i pomocny."

"Breakfast was fine - just remember to inform the owner the day before if you require breakfast. Ingrid, the co-owner, is a lovely woman and a fine, traditional cook. You will never leave the table hungry! Whilst she can offer beer at an extra cost, we tended to buy our own along with wine to drink at dinner. Again, you will need to inform Ingrid on the day if you require dinner later. There is no choice; me and my wife are both omnivores with no allergies or intollerances, and always liked what she prepared! Our lodge was spacious with a generous deck overlooking the beautiful gardens, and the sea in the background."

A small fridge in our lodge would have been a great bonus - however, we were free to use Ingrid's fridge. The shower was also a little on the dribbly side!

"The place is so nice. Restaurant is great & so are the rooms. The food was so good & the chef came out to tell us about the dishes, lovely!"

Arrived at 11.30am to some "surprises" from the night before & no beer in the restaurant - someone had a great night! Good for them! Cleaning was dealt with quickly & beer was eventually delivered. A one-off, I'm sure..
