"Everything was as we expected. A very nice stay if you have your own transport. Bed was comfortable and a good hot shower which is rather a luxury in São Tomé. The breakfast was excellent and we also had dinner there upon arrival which we very much enjoyed as well. Just 20 minutes from the airport. Joanna is very welcoming and the staff were all very kind as well. We highly recommend."

"Joana and Ricardo, the hosts, went above and beyond to make ourselves feel at home and help us with logistics, including coming to pick us up when we got lost and made dinner arrangements for us. The breakfast was also exceptional with a selection of freshly prepared options."

"We had a wonderful stay at Roca Vale dos Prazeres. The Roca was beautifully clean and presented and the facilities excellent. Ricardo was very helpful in arranging a hire car for us and providing transfers. The food was also excellent and varied. The location was a great base as it was easy to drive into Sao Tome city and well placed for exploring the north coast and inland (Monte Cafe etc)."

"We were welcomed as we were VIP guests by very nice people. They managed to mix the of an historical house with the confort of modern life. WE had nice dinners made with local products in a fine china. The place is both relaxing because it is quiet and peacful and entertaining with all the games and activities at your disposal. The owners even helped us to organise a last minute trip with a guide. It was great."

"Amazing place that is conveniently located close to the airport and the capital. The hosts are super helpful and will make sure that your stay in the island is the best. I really enjoyed the dinners there in the terrace with a playroom that is nearby and the dogs and donkeys running around. Thank you for a great stay and I highly recommended it for a unique experience on the island."
