"Nice apartment, nice terrace overlooking the pool and with partial sea view. The ceiling fans were very good and enough to keep the apartmrent cool and we did not need the aircon. The owner had been very friendly and responsive. Just a few meters walk to a long stretch of beach with few people around. Free use of beach chairs and sunshades"

Air conditioning did not work in the living room but was not a problem because we did not need it. The only problem was after we checked out when we received a message from the owner saying that we had forced open a closet and damaged some beach towels. I have explained the owner how things really went and I believe that it was fiundamentally a misunderstanding and the problem was likely caused by the people in charge of the cleaning/maintenance of the apartment or some previous guests, since the owner lives in Europe. To be fair the owner did not ask us to pay anything it was just her complaining about us having done something that we did not do.

"There is a kitchen where I was able to prepare my own meals. All the facilities are included e.g a cooker, fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave etc It was a home from home apartment which was to my liking and style. The host Marcia is excellent and extremely helpful. I would describe her as a problem solver and very knowledgeable. Including Yolanda who does the day to day Management of the accommodation . She is always helpful and very friendly no matter how busy her day is . I have recently extended my stay for a further 18 days as I am very happy staying here whilst visiting friends and overseeing some renovation work on my own property."

Due to the fact that we are on a main Road there is ongoing traffic and the noise can sometimes be a bit loud from the music boxes the cars and taxi drivers have in their vehicles. There is no noise control on vehicles in Guyana. However, after a time you get use to it.

The apartment was very well equipped but really quite small for 4 people

"A tastefully furnished hotel with very kind and friendly owners who do their best to make your stay as pleasant as possible, even in challenging conditions. The restaurant is beautifully designed and very welcoming. The room is simple but has everything you need. Good location, close to Volo Volo!"

"We had a very comfortable and quiet 2 week stay in the Sunset Room. The entire cottage is beautiful and immaculately kept by Demi. We had everything we needed to cook at home but also enjoyed many meals out at local restaurants. Our morning coffee on the balcony before our daily walks on Shoal Bay beach (5 min drive away) were a great way to start each day. Use of the laundry facilities was much appreciated. Hot shower, quality towels, linens and bath products. Demi was very helpful with recommendations. The location was great as we had a car to explore the island. Nothing in Anguilla is far. We loved everything about the island and would highly recommend any of the rooms at The Hidden Cottage."

"Bardzo przestronny pokój, w pełni wyposażony aneks, pralka,dobrze działająca klimatyzacja. Śniadanie co dziennie serwowane do pokoju (wybór z karty). Pomocny, mily personel na recepcji, pomógł nam w wynajmie auta, polecił co zwiedzić w okolicy,gdzie lepiej zjeść itd. Bardzo miła obsługa."

Łazienka wymaga gruntownego sprzątania.

The host could improve his attitude a bit. I don’t know why but he seemed a bit grumpy to me.

It is cheap (around 7€ per night), very clean, modern, the beds in the dormitory are very good, and most of all, the hosts are super nice. Yuka and her family made us feel really welcome, and Yuka is super funny. After 1 week there it felt like home. I definitely recommend this place !"

"Das Appartement hat eine ausgezeichnete Lage mit Blick auf die Burg von Făgăraș sowie seitlich auf die orthodoxe Kirche. Es liegt sehr zentral und verfügt über einen eigenen Parkplatz, so dass eine Parkplatzsuche nicht notwendig ist. Nahezu direkt unter dem Appartement befinden sich ein ganz kleiner Laden, in dem man das Nötigste (z.B. Getränke) erhält. Ein paar Meter weiter befinden sich eine Apotheke und eine Möglichkeit für Geldwechsel. Auch der Markt für frisches Obst und Gemüse ist nicht weit entfernt. Das Appartement selbst ist wunderschön. Man merkt, dass es gut gepflegt wird! Es ist sauber und ordentlich und die Vermieterin ist jederzeit erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit, wenn es doch mal Fragen gibt. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und können das Appartement nur weiterempfehlen!"

The cooker didn't work

"Breakfast quite good . But one day the coffee machine spoil and cannot do the coffee. If possible need to have one spare coffee machine in case one not working then can use the spare one."

Install one coffee machine in the room like Nespresso machine so we can enjoy coffee in the room

"The property was perfect for our family - it allowed us to eat at the apartment whilst also being able to go out. The kids loved the pool! The property is in a perfect location and yet very quiet"

The microwave did not work! Fortunately we did not really need it but on the one occasion we wanted to use it, it did not work. We reported it so it can be resolved. Also, we had a tea towel for a day or so but then it kept disappearing. Not easy to dry plates etc when there is no tea towel

W czerwcu w pokoju na parterze gorąco (brak klimatyzacji), ale wentylator nieco pomógł.

"Obiekt oferuje bardzo przyjemny widok, na tarasie jest kanapa, szum potoku w dolinie uspokaja. Meble i sprzęty kuchenne w bardzo dobrym stanie, estetyczny wygląd salonu, kuchenka, zmywarka, sztućce, naczynia stołowe, ekspres- w wystarczającej ilości. Wspaniałe miejsce na wyjazd narciarki , do kolejki ok 2km. samochodem niecałe 5 minut,"
