My only complaint is about the bed… it was hanging in the middle and was really noise. Needs a new bed.

"It's a beautiful property- the room and facilities were great. The dinner was delicious and extremely generous- Rum and wine included as well. Breakfast had some nice continental options and I especially enjoyed the herb tea. The host was wonderful- I don't speak French but was very easy using google translate. She gave great instructions for arrival. She also looked after me as and made sure I got to the start of my hike safely- she asked another couple to drop me at the trail on their way to Marla after she realised I was going to walk up the windy mountain road! If you are getting a bus there is also a stop right outside- although take care to plan as the buses don't run frequently."

"We traveled on our bicycles and Highland lodge was the perfect stop between Afriski and Mokhontlong. Rooms were very large and so clean. Bed was very large and comfy. Staff was nice, friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend 👌🏼"

We would have enjoyed a desert after our dinner but it was not so important.

Keine Handtücher. Toilettenpapier wurde nicht nachgefüllt. Heizung im Zimmer ließ sich nicht zurückdrehen.

Entrance is hard to find, I first thought I was in the wrong place.

"Location is ok, 10 minutes walk to Somerset MRT station. Cleanness was ok, not spotted but acceptable. Air conditioning worked well. As the cheapest private room with private bathroom in the whole city this place is worth its price. Good contact with owner via whatsapp. I would come back."

The owner does not treat this place like a hotel, so for example, toilet paper is replaced by the guests themselves.

"Personel był niezwykle przyjazny i pełen entuzjazmu. Miejsce jest malownicze, z historią wyrażoną także w wyglądzie obiektu - choćby zabytkowej jadalni. Jedzenie na kolacji było przepyszne i lokalne. Łóżko było bardzo wygodne."

Obiekt odbiegał czystością od innych odwiedzonych przeze mnie miejsc w Gruzji. Co nie oznacza, że nie było czysto. Oznaczenie lokalizacji jest także dość niejasne, podróż przez szlak z samego Iprali zajęła dodatkowe 45 minut przez barszcze Sosnowskiego.

"Wyjątkowe miejsce na pobyt w historycznym domu. Niesamowite doświadczenie. Bardzo zaangażowany właściciel, który bardzo chętnie oprowadza po obiekcie i opowiada o przedmiotach w środku. Dostaliśmy od niego także siatkę daktyli, co było niezwykle miłe, a same owoce bardzo smaczne."

"Great location, owner's pleasant personality, cleanliness, the feeling of home away from home,availability of all basic amenities, quietness, size of the accommodation, and the cost, parking on the enclosed compound added to the feeling of safety. As the first customer, the owners had a toast with me. That was great, unexpected, and exceptional. Will recommend it highly. 9/10"
