This is a place to stay for birdwatching with flocks of African grey parrots, kingfishers, egrets .. and so much more to see.. Excellent value meals can be brought to your table daily. Freshly caught fish, local grown fruit and rice. No need to cook . It's good quality and great value. Bring cash for guides and daily, national park entry fees . The beach is amazing ... REALLY"

Ensure you have bought a local sim-card, loaded with data before arriving. Wifi may not work. Also, before arriving, stop at a supermarket and buy sufficient drinking water for your stay. ( 2 litres per person per day minimum ). Bring mosquito spray for your jungle walks and be prepared to rough it .

"I liked everything about the property. It felt like a peaceful oasis away from the hectic life of the local area. The villas are well equipped for cooking which I managed to do quite happily. All the staff were particularly helpful, professional and pleasant in their approach. I have to mention Miss Erika, the property administrator who couldn’t do enough to make me feel welcomed and comfortable. Also, Maria would clean and tidy my villa so well, which always made my surroundings so pleasant. Even Digno, the security guy, was very helpful and carried my suitcases when I left. I was very happy with the price I paid to stay in this property."

"Everything you will see at this place is handmade by the owner himself and you can tell he and his family put all their heart and soul in it. We had a very comfortable room with a terrace and we also visited the cellar with multitude of paintings, sculpture and Kvevri wine."
