"Subiektywnie: szkocki klimat hotelu. Ponieważ nastawialiśmy się wyłącznie na zwiedzanie Szkocji, położenie hotelu było bardzo dobre. Blisko obwodnicy, dojazd do Edynburga to około 35 min, do Glasgow 30 min."

Hałasująca klimatyzacja / wentylacja na dachu hotelu, która była słyszalna w pokoju. Głownie korzystaliśmy tylko ze śniadań, które były bardzo ubogie w warzywa, ale za to można było poczuć szkocki klimat.

"The villa had great privacy, beautiful landscaping, a good layout for our group. It was well-equipped with essentials for cooking/serving. The salt pool was perfect for cooling off after a hike. It was just big enough and always seemed to be at the right temperature. We were delighted by fireflies, tree frogs, bats, local birds, and even a shy ginger cat that wandered past once or twice."

THE ROAD- while we expected a rough access road from reading previous reviews, the construction during our stay detoured us through the banana plantation over an intolerably (for anyone with neck/back problems) rough track that was 4x longer. While the ocean (not a swimming beach) is close enough to hear, there is not much view. It is a peek from one corner of the pool deck, and the upper bedroom. But again, wonderful privacy. Also of note- there are no bug screens on the windows. It was perhaps an assumption on our part with the newer construction, but the mosquitoes did cause some distress, especially for one member of our group. Bring bug spray, After-Bite (anti-itch), and Benadryl if you are prone to reactions.

"Hotel położony na uboczu z daleka od większych miejscowości. Osoby preferujące zabawę i rozrywkę nie będą tu zachwycone. Lokalizacja dobra dla osób nastawionych na zwiedzanie. Istniały różne możliwości transportu: autobusy, promy a nawet katamaran z Gozo do Valletty. Hotel bardzo czysty. Personel bardzo życzliwy i gotowy do pomocy. Wyżywienie było bardzo dobre i urozmaicone."

Jedna z winda była kapryśna ale to może przez zmęczenie pod koniec sezonu. Jedna ze zjeżdżalni wodnych była nieczynna przez cały pobyt.

"Well maintained, super friendly and helpful staff. Room was always well stocked with towels and cleaned. Nicola does a great job by the pool keeping everyone happy with towels, food and drinks. Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly and the bartender was always smiling and talkative. D Richard’s steakhouse was great - Steak Diane and Filet were both excellent. Sol de Mar had good Mediterranean style food with a relaxed atmosphere. My husband and I ate here on a few occasions- pasta with lobster, veal scallopini both great choices. Close location to a number of off property restaurants that are excellent."

The pads on the loungers are very old, worn thin and extremely uncomfortable to sit on. Chef’s Table wasn’t good- we ate only one dinner there and the lobster cake and fish were dried out. The pasta dish with Shrimp had the full shell on the shrimp still making eating very messy. Lobster Fest on the beach was disappointing. The lobster was dried out as it had been sitting under lamps for some time. We waited 30 minutes past our reservation time to finally get a table after speaking with the manager in charge. Very unorganized.

"A good hotel with a decent and tasty breakfast served in an interestingly located restaurant. The rooms are clean and spacious. It's pleasantly cool in summer even during the heat, although there's no air conditioning. A special highlight is the mountain river flowing nearby — you can hear its sound at night. The location is truly excellent, especially convenient because the free shuttle bus stop is right next to the hotel. In the pool, the water is very warm, but it was impossible to use it — all the spots around the pool were constantly occupied."

The fact that, despite the heat, rooms were not supplied with drinking water & this had to be ordered from room service at $5 a small bottle. We had just arrived from staying at the Hamilton Princess hotel in Bermuda &, as is normal for luxury hotels of this standard, that had no problem in supplying drinking water to guests free of charge.
